Update on the AFI PPR Approval Process

Review the revised forms, get instructions for submitting comments, and learn more about plans for collecting FY 2015 data at http://idaresources.acf.hhs.gov/AFIPPR.

2016 AFI FOA Updated!

The AFI Program FOA has re-opened. The next application deadline is May 13, 2016. There have been some minor modifications to the FOA from the version posted in November 2015. Each of those modifications is detailed in this table.

2016 Poverty Guidelines Released

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation has released the 2016 Poverty Guidelines. The Poverty Guidelines have a key role in eligibility determination for the Assets for Independence (AFI) program. Please make sure that your program policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
